Teechers - Sept 2013
Teechers receives rave reviews!
The latest TADS performance, Teechers by Jon Godber, which ran from Weds 18th to Friday 20th September was a resounding success!
Thanks to everyone that attended and continued to support TADS through what has been a difficult few years.
Audience feedback was extremely complementary and even though the play was a slight departure from our normal repetoire, everyone seemed to enjoy the change.
It was also very well received by our local National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) representative. Excerpts from the adjudication are below:
"Salty (Him), Gail (Her) and Hobby (Me) were faultlessly played by Peter Gibson, Kim Griffiths and Kerry Tammam. Time flew by as the three became teachers and students with the minimum of props and a set consisting of three desks and chairs and a hanger with a few coats and hats"
"The prompt in this play wasn`t needed, every change was so smoothly executed. I was totally in awe with the slick way scene changes were brought about. How the three remembered their lines and which prop to use and the character they became was brilliantly done."
"Without question this is one of the best plays I have seen. My congratulations to the director and all backstage especially Andy who was in charge of sound and lighting"
Congratulations to everyone involved and fingers crossed this outstanding performance is recognised at next year's awards!
